A-1 Lake
|
This attractive lake holds a fair supply of Rainbows and Brookies. The lake was named after an Apache Chieftan. His name wasn't actually A-1, but the U.S. Army officials couldn't easily promnounce his Apache name, so he was referred to as A-1. In winter ice fishing is popular due to the relatively easy highway access A-1 enjoys.
