Lake Mohave (also spelled Lake Mojave by some) is a large, elongated lake located within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The lake is situated in a desert environment along the border between Arizona and Nevada. The lake was formed by the Davis Dam which is a few miles north of Bullhead City, AZ and Laughlin, NV. Anglers go for rainbow trout, striped bass, and catfish. At the far southern end of the lake on the eastern side are develped facilities. There are a few campgrounds, picnic areas and boat launching facilities. The lake is popular for houseboating.
