Arizona Trail Passage 1 - Huachuca Mountains

Mexico border monument 102 to Parker Canyon Lake. The bulk of this passage is located within the Miller Peak Wilderness. The trail has ridgeline hiking, excellent valley views and old mine shafts. This southernmost section of the Arizona Trail is both historically and ecologically significant. This passage links Coronado National Memorial with Parker Canyon Lake.

 Some More Things to Know

This area sees heavy traffic from illegal aliens and drug smugglers crossing the border. That makes this area very littered and dangerous for camping. The heavily traveled trails used by illegals intersect this trail and can cause navigation to be difficult.
