Beaver Travel Information
Beaver is a pleasant small town along I-15 at the base of the Tushar
Mountains. It has a number of lodging options and casual dining
available. It is an easy traveler's stop for I-15 motorists and a
convenient base from which to explore the Tushar Mountains. The
Tushar Mountains are a pretty range with a number of hiking and biking
trails, campgrounds and small lakes. In winter there are skiing and
snowmobiling opportunities. Though the Tushars exceed the height of
the Wasatch Mountains in Northern Utah, they remain under appreciated
and relatively uncrowded. Beaver is 52 miles north of Cedar City
and 210 miles south of Salt Lake City. Beaver
