Brian Head Resort

Brian Head Resort offers every skier 500+ acres of uncrowded terrain, over 400 inches of legendary Utah Powder every season, and homespun hospitality rooted in our southwestern heritage.

Brian Head Resort is famous for teaching folks how to ski, guaranteed. The Navajo Lodge Learning Center features one of the nation's best learn-to-ski environments, with an entire mountain dedicated to beginners.

Intermediate skiers will love the groomed, corduroy perfection at Giant Steps, and the wide variety of runs offering near complete solitude on most days. Long cruisers combine with short mogul fields and quick adventures in the glades for a fabulous day on slopes.

Advanced skiers take it up a notch with our Peak Express Service. Enjoy a quick and scenic cruise to 11,307 feet above sea level in our beefed-up Ford on tracks. Only $5 per ride, plus regular lift ticket, the Peak Express accesses over 100 acres of big bowl skiing, narrow chutes, rock-drops, and deep powder. Open when conditions permit, usually starting in mid-January.

Other advanced, backcountry fun is accessed through gates for some of the best turns on the mountain. Devo's and Sunspots usually offer fresh turns in powder, even a couple days after a storm.

The new 2007-2008 season brings 35% more terrain than before to Brian Head and two new chairlifts. Navajo and Giant Steps are now joined by the Interconnect System of trails and lifts. Skiers will no longer need to drive to access both mountains, and there are plenty of new runs even for frequent Brian Head visitors.
