Bright Angel Loop Hike & Sedona Off-Road Adventure - 4 Days

Beautiful redrock formations, Oak Creek Canyon, and off-road adventure are waiting for you in picturesque Sedona, Arizona. Spend your day on a exciting 4X4 jeep tour, or a world class mountain bike ride, before heading for your Grand Canyon destination.

This is the classic Grand Canyon backpacking adventure. Starting on the South Kaibab, you will decend through 1.7 billion years of geologic history on a rail built for its expansive vistas. Using a suspension bridge to cross the Colorado River, you'll make your way to the hisotric bright angel campground. After a night under the stars your hike will take you along the colorado river, before climbing the Bright Angel Trail to Indian Gardens. Ancient ruins, sunset dinner at plateau point, and camping in a beautiful grove of cottonwoods are all part of second day of your trip. Day three will put you back on the Bright Angel trail. Your hike back to the rim of the canyon is a great oppertunity to spot wildlife, and observe rock art on a path used since the time of the ancertral puebloans.

 Trip Itinerary

Day One:
Morning pick-up at the Phoenix airport, or your Phoenix hotel. Drive to Sedona for your choice of a Sedona Jeep Tour, or Sedona Mountain Biking. Sunset drive through Oak Creek Canyon to check into your Flagstaff hotel.

Day Two:
Scenic drive to the Grand Canyon's South Rim for the start of your backpacking adventure. Enjoy the scenic South Kaibab trails expansive vistas South Kaibab trail to Bright Angel Campground.

Day Three:
Head up the scenic South Kaibab Trail to make camp at Indian Garden, and have a sunset dinner at Plateau Point.

Day Four:
Early start for our trek back to the South Rim. A quick icecream stop for a well deserved treat, and one last look at the grandeur of the Canyon before driving back to phoenix, or one of our other available drop-off points.
