Kayak the Colorado River with Desert Adventures. These kayak tours are just the right mix of thrills and safety. You'll use only the best equipment, have the most experienced guides, and take only the best and most scenic routes through the canyon. You'll see the water and the rock walls of the gorge, certainly, but you'll also see birds and plenty of four-footed wildlife. Explore rain caves and take to the shores on foot for some hiking exploration.
Kayak trips might be associated with summer, but you can kayak with Desert Adventures all year-round. Each season has its advantages. The cool water is particularly welcome in the intense heat of summer, and the hot springs are particularly welcome in the winter and fall. The canyon absolutely blossoms in the spring. Choose your season accordingly!

Basic Directions
From Arizona (Kingman): Take Hwy 93 North toward Las Vegas. You will come to the Nevada border at Hoover Dam. Proceed over the Hoover Dam and continue on Hwy 93. About 3-4 miles after you are off the dam, you will see a hotel called the Hacienda on your right. This is where we meet for overnight trips. To find our retail store, continue on Hwy 93 toward Boulder City. At the stoplight (Buchanan Blvd), veer right and continue toward Las Vegas. Our business will be on the left hand (south) side of the street, in the Red Mountain Plaza. We are next to the Rebel Gas Station, and Roberto's Taco Shop.
