This campground is LIMITED TO CAMPERS WITH HORSES or stock animals. Gabaldon Campground is situated amid spruce trees at the foot of the Mount Baldy Wilderness. Trails connect the campground to the wilderness via the East Baldy Trail (Trail #95). Horse back riding, hiking, fishing, bird watching, and wildlife viewing are available in the nearby area. The campground is named for Juan Gabaldon, who retired from the Forest Service after working on many of the trails in the area. The campground is a perfect spot to relax after a day's ride.
