Grand Canyon - Fishing

Fantastic Scenic Flights
Fantastic Scenic Flights

There is fishing available at the extreme northeastern end of Grand Canyon National Park on the Colorado River near Lees Ferry. Several outfitters guide trips here.

You can also cruise by powerboat up the Colorado River from Lake Mead about 38 miles into Grand Canyon National Park. It's an absolutely beautiul setting for fishing, camping, photography and soaking up the scenery. River access to this part of the Grand Canyon starts near Pearce Ferry at the east end of Lake Mead, just 8 miles from Meadview in Arizona. NOTE: Water levels are currently very low (2003) at this part of the Grand Canyon so the river is muddy and shallow.
