The North Rim of the Grand Canyon gets snowed in each winter with many feet of snow. The road is closed into the park on the North Rim; closed to autos that is, not snowmobiles.

If you'd be interested in checking out the Kaibab National Forest and other areas on the North Rim by snowmobile you can rent sleds from some outfitters in the area.
