There are many trails that will take you to the Colorado River, and we offer three of them! Take the trail most traveled with our South Kaibab/Bright Angel Loop hike. Hike to the river via the Hermit trail - great for those who have hiked Bright Angel and are looking for something a little more challenging and less populated. Or, access the river from a trailhead that requires a high clearance
vehicle - South Bass Trail! Very few people, but some of the best views of the canyon! When you request your reservation, tell us which trail you want to explore.
