Hawley Lake Campground

This campground is located on the White Mountain Apache Reservation.

Hawley Lake is a 260 acre popular trout fishing lake on the Fort Apache Reservation. At 8,500 feet, summer days are mild and the nights are cold. A small seasonal store provides permits, boat rentals, gas and groceries. Cabins near the lake can be reserved and can accommodate two to fourteen guests. RV and tent campsites are also available on a first come basis or through reservation.

 Some More Things to Know

This campground is on the White Mountain Apache Reservation. All recreation (fishing, camping, hiking, riding, picnics …) require permits that are available from retailers in the area. Follow the rules - penalties can be severe.

From Pinetop:
Hwy 260 east for 15 miles to Hwy 473 then south for 10 miles.
