Homolovi Ruins State Park Campground

“Homolovi” is Hopi for “Place of the Little Hills”. This 4000 acre state park is on the banks of the often dry Little Colorado River, and during the 14th century was the home of the Anasazi. Trails in the park lead to many archaeological sites currently used to study the migration of these ancestors of the Hopi.
