Hurricane Lake Campground

This campground is located on the White Mountain Apache Reservation.

Hurricane Lake is a 19 acre stocked lake and is available as part of the White Mountain Apache Reservation's "Rent-A-Lake" program. Groups can reserve the lake and campground. Close to Reservation Lake and less than two hours from Pinetop.

This campground is on the White Mountain Apache Reservation. All recreation (fishing, camping, hiking, riding, picnics …) require permits that are available from retailers in the area. Follow the rules - penalties can be severe.

Directions

From Pinetop:
Take Hwy 260 east for 24 miles to Hwy 273 turn right (south) for 20.5 miles turn left toward Cnty Hwy 8 for 3 miles then a slight right at Cnty Hwy 8 and then 4 miles to the lake.
