Los Burros Campground

Los Burros Campground is also the site of a former Forest Service Ranger Station with an old barn and a corral that are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The Los Burros Trailhead is also located here currently but is scheduled to be re-routed in the future. Los Burros is located at the edge of a beautiful meadow and is characterized by aspen trees scattered throughout the area. Trailers up to 22 feet are welcome.

 Directions

Southeast of Show Low on Hwy 260. Take the gravel road north from McNary (Forest Road 224) through the White Mountain Apache Reservation about 7 miles to the signed turnoff to Los Burros; turn right and proceed about 1/4 mile to the campground.
