Agua Caliente Scenic Drive Roughly 40 miles 1-2 hours
A drive on a maintained and mostly dirt road through a natural Sonoran Desert area formed by the Yellow Medicine Hills and the Gila Bend Mountains. The drive offers nice desert vegetation especially in the spring when the ocotillos, brittlebush and palo verdes are in bloom.

Apache Trail National Scenic Byway 48 miles oneway 2 hours
Apache Trail National Scenic Byway is a 40 mile drive on Hwy 88 from Apache Junction to Roosevelt Dam. The route is mountainous.

Desert Foothills Scenic Drive 6 miles 30 minutes - 1 hour
This short drive is marked with informative signs about the vegetation and natural features of the area. Views of the surrounding terrain are great.

Harquahala Mountain Back Country Byway 10.5 miles (16 km) 45 minutes

Harquahala Mountain Summit Road Scenic Drive 21 miles roundtrip 2 hours
The Harquahala Mountain Summit Road is rugged and challenging for those with 4wd vehicles. The summit is the highest point in southwest Arizona with nice 360 degree vistas.
