Pioneer Pass Campground

Set in the cool Pinal Mountains.
South of Pioneer Pass is the Squaw Springs Trail that leads to Pinal Peak.
The East Mountain Trail, known for its desert vistas, is also nearby.

 Directions

This site is 9 miles south of Globe. From Globe, follow paved Jess Hayes Road to the junction of Icehouse Canyon Road/Forest Road (FR) 112 and Sixshooter Canyon Road/Forest Road (FR) 222. Continue on FR 112 for 3 miles to the junction of FR 55 and FR 112. Stay to the left and continue following FR 112 (which soon becomes unpaved) for another 6 miles to the site.
