This campground is on the White Mountain Apache Reservation. All recreation (fishing, camping, hiking, riding, picnics …) require permits that are available from retailers in the area. Follow the rules - penalties can be severe.

Directions

From Pinetop:
Take Hwy 260 east for 24 miles to Hwy 273 turn right (south) for 20.5 miles turn left toward County Hwy 8 for 3 miles then a slight right at County Hwy 8 and then 1 mile to the lake.
