Riverview Campground

Riverview Campground Riverview Campground is located 20 miles northeast of Safford within the Gila Box Riparian National Conservation Area. On November 28, 1990, Congress created the Gila Box, one of only two RNCA's in the nation. Four perennial waterways - the Gila River, Bonita Creek, Eagle Creek, and San Francisco River - are the lifeblood of this remarkable place. Not only does the RNCA hold one of the most significant riparian zones in the southwest, it offers tremendous recreational opportunities.
