Here is an nice little drive that will add another perspective to your appreciation of the Santa Rita Mountains. Box Canyon Road takes you into an area of the mountain range where open grasslands predominate and where broad views stretch across large basins and isolated mountain ranges.

Buck Farm Overlook offers a spectacular view of Marble Canyon and the Colorado River, with the Vermilion Cliffs to the north and Navajo Mountain to the east.

Buck Ridge Point is probably one of the least visited overlooks on the North Kaibab, but one of the most interesting. This scenic vista provides a truly unique view of the Arizona Strip, the plateaus of southern Utah, and Mt. Trumbull.
