Scenic Skyride at the Arizona Snowbowl

The Scenic Skyride at the Arizona Snowbowl is a nice way to see Northern Arizona, shuttling guests to an elevation of 11,500 feet for spectacular views. From this elevation, over 70 miles of scenery can be enjoyed, including the Grand Canyon and downtown Flagstaff.

The Skyride is a great opportunity for photography, viewing wildlife, hiking, or just enjoying the peaceful ride up and down Arizona's highest mountains. At the top of the Skyride, a U.S. Forest Service interpretative specialist is available to assist you and answer any questions regarding the biology and geology of the region.

To get there, drive 7 miles north of Flagstaff on US 180 to the Snow Bowl Fort Valley Center, then drive 7 more miles to the lodge and the scenic skyride.

Open Fri, Sat, and Sun after Labor Day
Season: Memorial Day - Mid-October

Be sure to bring appropriate clothing, it is very cool at these high elevations.



 Directions

Drive 7 miles north of Flagstaff on US 180 to the Snow Bowl Fort Valley Center, then drive 7 more miles to the lodge and the scenic skyride. (Note: Many GPS systems have incorrect location data for Arizona Snowbowl.)
