Situated near Scott Reservoir, Scott Reservoir Campground has only modest developments but is very popular throughout the summer. Camping and picnicking is allowed along the lakeshore and surrounding area. A variety of fish species including; Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Channel Cat, Large Mouth Bass, Green Sunfish, Blue Gill, Black Bull Head, and Carp can be found in Scott Reservoir.From July to September summer thunderstorms are frequent and abrupt. Lightning is always a danger at this time, so take precautions and get off of the lake immediately.
