Transept Trail

The Transept Trail offers a 1.5 mile (3 miles round trip) hike near the Grand Canyon Lodge of the North Rim. It follows the canyon rim from Grand Canyon Lodge to the North Rim Campground. It makes for an nice day hike. The view is mostly of the side canyon.

The trail is well defined and flat, and offers some shade.
