Woods Canyon Lake

Woods Canyon Lake is located along the Mogollon Rim off Hwy 260 about 30 miles east of Payson. It is stocked with rainbow trout and also contains brownies and brookies. Use tends to be significant.

Campgrounds are nearby. Only electric motors are permitted on the lake.

From Payson travel east on SR 260 towards Heber. At the top of rim turn left onto FR 300 (Woods Canyon Lake turnoff). Travel approximately 5 miles to junction FR 105. Turn right.
