The Backway to Crown King trail is quite challenging, but rewarding with the history that can be seen along the way. It is recommended to take a vehicle with adequate ground clearance and capable of decent articulation. Most stock jeeps and 4x4 trucks can make the trip. Though it is advisable to bring a tow strap.
This is a popular weekend trip so if keep a watchful eye for others on the trail.
