Buck Farm Overlook Scenic Drive

Buck Farm Overlook Scenic Drive takes you off the east rim of the Grand Canyon into House Rock Valley. As the Kaibab Plateau spreads out to the west, rolling pinyon and juniper woodlands cross the buffalo range.

The overlook offers a spectacular view of Marble Canyon and the Colorado River, with the Vermilion Cliffs to the north and Navajo Mountain to the east.

The route encompasses dirt roads suitable for passenger vehicles in dry weather.

To get there:

From Jacob Lake, go east on Hwy 89A for about 20 miles to Forest Service Road 445. This is the start of the drive. Turn south and go about 23.5 miles to the fork in FSR 445. Take the left fork and go another 2 miles to FSR 445H. Follow FSR 445H for about 3 miles to the end of the road. A short hike of 100 yards or so will allow you to look directly into Marble Canyon.
