 Hilltop Campground is located at an elevation of 5,500 feet in the ponderosa pine type about 0.5 mile directly south of Lynx Lake. The campsites provided are generally large enough to accommodate most recreational vehicles under 40 feet in length; however, utility hookups are not provided. The campground is open from April 1 to October 31 each year, and a host is available to provide information and assist visitors to locate a suitable camping site. There is a $10 a night fee for each site. This campground does not have any Recreational Vehicle hookups, dump stations or shower facilities. Lynx Lake is approximately 55 surface acres and is periodically stocked with trout. A State of Arizona fishing license is required for all anglers over the age of 13. No swimming is permitted and the use of boat motors is limited to electrically powered models. Rental boats are available from the nearby marina and store.
