Mission San Xavier del Bac Mission San Xavier del Bac is known as the 'White dove of the Desert" and is open to the public with a museum and a southwestern gift shop.

Daily Catholic masses at 8:30 am and 3 Sunday masses are celebrated at the church. To get there drive south on I-19 from Tucson and follow the signs.
