Benny Creek Campground is located just off State Highway 373, about 2.5 miles north of Greer.
Description
The campground is situated on a bench above Benny Creek, within walking distance of Bunch Reservoir (Greer Lakes). Sites are fairly open, under a canopy of ponderosa pine. Abert squirrels and chipmunks are common campground residents.
Be prepared for rain, often heavy, through July and August. Expect cool to cold nighttime temperatures. Tents, trailers and small motorhomes up to 24 foot are allowed.
