Description

"First class, rip-roarin' family entertainment" is what Lisa Reuter of the Columbus Dispatch considers her experience at the Blazin' M Ranch in Cottonwood. Owned and operated by the Mabery family since 1994, they have created a true Western experience that the entire family will enjoy.

Located along the banks of the Verde River in Cottonwood, just 90 minutes North of Phoenix and twenty minutes from Sedona & Jerome, the fun begins at 5:00PM when the gates open and you enter the Old West courtyard. You will enjoy the wide variety of Western sights and activities including a shooting gallery, train ride, horseshoe pits, a mechanical roping horse and friendly farm animals. Visit our Olde Tyme photo studio to experience the fun, humor and romance of dressing up in late 1800's Old West, saloon and Victorian costumes and then take home a digital photo of your experience to cherish and remember for a lifetime. Our many unique gift shops offer something for everyone. Be sure to take your time as you stroll through our one-of-a-kind-in-the-world Wood 'N' West Gallery where the "Old West comes to life" in hand-carved historical scenes that will delight and entertain your entire family.

At 6:30PM the dinner bell rings and guests are treated to our all-you-can-eat chuckwagon grub in our climate controlled "barn" (we operate rain or shine) served by our cowpokes on a tin plate and tin cup. After supper, sit back and enjoy the harmonic sounds of the famous Blazin' M Cowboys, who will amaze you with their hour-long Western stage production that includes delightful cowboy music, storytelling, comedy, and some surprises you won't want to miss including a regular visit from "Otis" the resident pesky character who will make you laugh until your full belly aches!

The Blazin' M Ranch is also the perfect place for weddings, birthday celebrations, anniversary parties, corporate gatherings, Christmas parties, etc.

Create a train package by combining your chuckwagon supper and show with a scenic 4-hour train ride through picturesque Sycamore Canyon wilderness area aboard the Verde Canyon Railroad. Make an overnight stay or even a weekend get-a-way with one of the many hotels in the area that offer packages with both the Blazin' M and Verde Canyon Railroad.
