Description

Crazy Jug Point Scenic Drive leads through a ponderosa pine forest to a nice view of the Grand Canyon looking into Tapeats Amphitheater. The spectacular canyonlands panorama includes Fishtail Mesa, Steamboat Mountain, and Powell Plateau.

32 miles of good gravel roads suitable for passenger vehicles.

Turn west on FR 461, 0.3 mile south of Visitor Center on AZ 67. Go 9 miles on Forest Roads 461 and 462 to FR 422 and turn south for about 11.5 miles (5 miles beyond Big Springs) to FR 425; turn right onto FR 425 and follow this road for 8.5 miles to Big Saddle Point; turn south onto FR 292 and continue for about 1.5 miles to the intersection with FR''s 292A, B & C. Follow FR 292B for about 0.3 mile to Crazy Jug Point.

Basic Directions
Turn west on FR 461, 0.3 mile south of Visitor Center on AZ 67. Go 9 miles on Forest Roads 461 and 462 to FR 422 and turn south for about 11.5 miles (5 miles beyond Big Springs) to FR 425; turn right onto FR 425 and follow this road for 8.5 miles to Big Saddle Point; turn south onto FR 292 and continue for about 1.5 miles to the intersection with FR's 292A, B & C. Follow FR 292B for about 0.3 mile to Crazy Jug Point.
