Why choose us? I started this company in 1998 for a simple reason, to show the world the most beautiful lake in the world. The enjoyment we get from guiding a tour is evident from the moment we meet you.

Glen Canyon Kayak Guides has been guiding tours on Lake Powell longer than anyone and more importantly we will do whatever it takes to ensure a safe and fun trip for our customers. We are not the biggest company but our individual treatment shows why we are the company to lead your tour. Naturally, we are licensed coast guard captains as well as certified national park guides with all the mandatory safety gear needed to run a great trip.

Half day tour: This is great if you only have a few hours in the area. The trip lasts from 1-4 hours and includes guide and gear. We will see 1 canyon and do a short but scenic hike. The price for these tours are $85 per person.

Full day tour: A good choice if you want a full day on the water and a bit of variety of the lake. The trip lasts 7 hours and includes guide, gear and lunch. We will have a few hiking options on this trip and plenty of paddling. The price for these tours are $150 per person

Overnight tour: A great way to enjoy a full day of scenic slot canyon paddling and a night full of amazing stars. You will enjoy breakfast lunch and dinner on Lake Powell as well as being guided through a narrow canyon full of photographic moments. This is a great introduction to the wonders of Lake Powell both by day and night. This is our most requested tour. The price is $250 per person and a minimum of 3 is needed.

Multi-day tour: Simply put, this is the pinnacle of Lake Powell touring. Each canyon represents a new experience and you'll never want to go home after a few days with us. We will take you to areas with several options for slot canyon kayaking and hiking. Every day will show you something new and you will be pleased to spend several days on this majestic lake. With 1960 miles of shoreline the possibilities are endless. While we have paddled many of the 96 canyons, a new experience for us is always welcomed. If you have a specific canyon or canyons in mind we will be glad to customize your trip for you.
