Description
Preserved are the archeological remains of the Hohokam culture. Hohokam is a Pima Indian word meaning "those who have gone." The Monument is located on the Gila River Indian Reservation and is under tribal ownership. The Gila River Indian Community has decided not to open the extremely sensitive area to the public.

The park is open year-round, seven days a week.
Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.
Buildings are open 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time.
Grounds are free and open dawn to dusk.
The last tour of the day is at 4:00pm.
Visitors begin at the Henry A. Wallace Visitor and Education Center, where tickets are available for the tour of the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt. The ticket includes the admission to the FDR Presidential Library and Museum. There is a 22 minute film in the auditorium of the Wallace Center entitled A Rendezvous With History that introduces the visitors to the Roosevelt experience. The Henrietta Nesbitt Café serves breakfast and lunch at the Wallace Center from 10am to 4pm daily April thru October.
