Description

Marble Viewpoint Scenic Drive runs along the north side of the Grand Canyon. The route starts within mixed conifer forests interspersed with high meadows moves into ponderosa pine and pinyon-juniper at the viewpoint. The overlook offers a panorama of House Rock Valley, Vermilion Cliffs, and Marble Canyon within Grand Canyon National Park.

To get there:

From Kaibab Plateau Visitor Center, go south on AZ 67 for 26.5 miles (0.7 mile beyond DeMotte Park Campground entrance) to FR 611. Turn east onto FR 611 and go 1.4 miles to the intersection with FR 610. Turn south onto FR 610 and follow this road for about 6 miles to FR 219 and turn north (left). Continue on FR 219 for about 4 miles to the end of the road at Marble Point.

Basic Directions
From Kaibab Plateau Visitor Center, go south on AZ 67 for 26.5 miles (0.7 mile beyond DeMotte Park Campground entrance) to FR 611. Turn east onto FR 611 and go 1.4 miles to the intersection with FR 610. Turn south onto FR 610 and follow this road for about 6 miles to FR 219 and turn north (left). Continue on FR 219 for about 4 miles to the end of the road at Marble Point.
