Description
The Serendipity Interpretive Trail is highlighted by interpretive signs which identify forest vegetation, food plots, and wildlife ponds. They also tell how these attributes attract and enhance wildlife. Moreover, the signs will help you become more familiar with plants which are found along the trail. The Serendipity Trail was constructed in 1990 by the Youth Conservation Corps, in cooperation with the Oden Ranger District and the Oden Woods and Water Club. Local citizens have also been involved by providing seed for the birdfeeder and transplanting wildflowers. The trail is open year long, and is exceptionally pleasant in the spring and fall.
