Description

Soldiers Trail is a great option for a family friendly ride in the Flagstaff area. Due to its southern aspect and lower elevation in comparison to other trails in the area, Soldiers Trail remains snow free for the majority of the winter. Riders of all ability levels will enjoy a ride on the Solider Trail’s wide singletrack through forest, accessed via a short ride from town.

Soldiers Trail starts off with a bit of an uphill section, which then levels out quickly. There are two significant climbs along the trail. Riders on Soldiers Trail can combine this ride with additional spur trails along the way to increase the difficulty and mileage of the ride. Of note is the Bridge Trail, which offers a fun, fast and technical downhill section sure to get the adrenaline pumping.
