Description
The Tahnemus Trail offers good access to the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail and ample room for stock trailer parking. Restrooms are located at the trailhead. The trail climbs through 30-60-year-old timber for 1/2 mile and offers excellent viewpoints of the sparkling blue waters of the Gorge. The trail terminates at the intersection with trail No. 2000, The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail.
On clear days, superb views of the Columbia River Gorge, both east and west, the Bonneville Dam, and the music of the Sternwheeler wafting up from the Gorge in the summer months, will enhance your trail experience.
