Description
Black Diamond Mines Regional Park features miles of dirt roadways and clay surfaced singletrack trails. Located near Antioch, Black Diamond Mines Regional Park encompasses over 3800 acres of land with loops of a variety of difficulty levels.
Black Diamond Mines Regional Park was once the site of intensive coal and sand mining. Now controlled by the East Bay Regional District, the old roadways and trails of Black Diamond Mines Regional Park are protected and used only for recreation. These trails and dirt roadways traverse through a mix of evergreen forest, grasslands, eucalyptus forest, and almond and olive tree stands.
