Ashurst Lake
Ashurst Lake is medium-sized, as northern Arizona lakes go, but it has a reputation for holding water even through long dry spells. The San Francisco Peaks stand picture perfect on the horizon.

Cataract Lake Lake Size:  35 acres   
Cataract Lake is located about 1 mile west of the town Williams off I-40. Its easy accessibility makes it a popular stop.

Dogtown Lake Lake Size:  50 acres   
Dogtown Lake is located about 6 miles southeast of the town Williams. Its fish include rainbow trout, largemouth bass, black crappie, bluegills and catfish.

Kaibab Lake Lake Size:  45 acres   
Kaibab Lake is located in the Kaibab National Forest 4 miles northeast of the town of Williams.

Kinnikinick Lake
Kinnikinick Lake is a relatively isolated, open country body of water where people come to camp and fish for trout.

Lower Lake Mary
The banks of Lower Lake Mary are usually lined with anglers trying to catch the trout which the Arizona Game and Fish Department stocks here.

Marshall Lake
Marshall Lake is a small marshy body of water that's generally full of coots and other waterfowl splashing, flapping, and cooting around.

Mormon Lake Lake Size:  9 sq. miles   
Mormon Lake used to be the largest natural lake in Arizona, however has been enduring a drought for several years. When it's a lake, it can be an excellent place to fish, boat, windsurf and birdwatch.

Soldier, Soldier Annex and Long Lakes
Soldier's Lake provides good fishing for bass and catfish. Soldier's Annex Lake is better known for its catfish, although blue gill can also be caught here. Long Lake is the only one of the three hat is stocked with trout.

Stoneman Lake Lake Size:  120 acres   
This medium-sized body of water, surrounded by Gambel oak and ponderosa pine covered basalt slopes, provides good fishing for northern pike and yellow perch. It is also an excellent place to bird watch during the yearly waterfowl migrations, or all summer long for songbirds.

Upper Lake Mary Lake Size:  4 sq. miles   
Upper Lake Mary is the largest of Flagstaff's twin lakes. You're liable to see everything from jet boats to rubber rafts, canoes and sailboats all sharing this same body of water.

Verde River
The Verde River is one of Arizona’s major perennial rivers and a treasured resource in the central part of the state. Free flowing for most of its length, it provides lush riparian habitat, abundant wildlife, diverse recreational opportunities, and spectacular scenery.

White Horse Lake Lake Size:  35 acres   
White Horse Lake is located in the Kaibab National Forest 19 miles southeast of the town Williams. It contains rainbow trout, brown trout and channel catfish.
