Apache Lake Lake Size:  2,568 acres   
Formed by Horse Mesa Dam, Apache Lake is long and narrow and is the second largest Salt River Project lake. It is located off the Apache Trail (Highway 88) about 65 miles from Phoenix, and is a favorite with many sportsmen, particularly those from southern Arizona.

Chevelon Canyon Lake
Chevelon Canyon Lake is a rather isolated lake located along the Mogollon Plateau about 60 miles northeast of Payson. It is well regarded for the Brown Trout it holds.

Roosevelt Lake Lake Size:  19,199 surface acres   
When full, Roosevelt Lake covers more than 25 square miles near the confluence of Tonto Creek and the Salt River. It is very popular boating destination. Game fish in Roosevelt include largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish and crappie.

Willow Springs Lake Lake Size:  150 acres   
Willow Springs Lake is located along the Mogollon Rim off Hwy 260 about 30 miles east of Payson. It is near Woods Canyon Lake.

Woods Canyon Lake Lake Size:  55 acres   
Woods Canyon Lake is located along the Mogollon Rim off Hwy 260 about 30 miles east of Payson.
