Eastern Trailhead: I-10 to Hwy 191. Then south 13 miles to Middlemarch Road (Pearce Rd). Turn west and drive 8 miles to FR 345A (4-wheel drive). Trailhead is at the end of this road.
Western Trailhead: Hwy 80 to Middlemarch Road (1 mile north of Tombstone), then east about 10 miles to FR 687 (at the national forest boundary), turn left onto FR 687. Turn right onto FR 687A (a 4-wheel drive road). The trail starts at the end of the road.
