Grand Canyon Skywalk Walk the path of the eagle … 4,000 feet above the natural wonder of the Grand Canyon. Look down through 2.5 inches of crystal-clear glass to the Canyon floor below. Grand Canyon Skywalk is on the West Rim, on Hualapai Tribal land. The West Rim is not part of the National Park system.

Lake Mead National Recreation Area As the Colorado River exits the Grand Canyon it enters the massive Lake Mead created by the Hoover Dam. The river line through Lake Mead is about 70 miles to the dam. Side canyons to explore are numerous and interesting. Once below Hoover Dam, the river flows through canyons for some 45 miles before reaching Lake Mohave, created by the Davis Dam.
