Sunrise Lake
|
Sunrise is a large lake located off Hwy 260 between Pinetop and Springerville in the White Mountains. Fish grow to between 15 and 20 inches here and hence is quite popular with fishermen. Fishing from shore or from a small craft are both productive, though be aware it sometimes gets quite windy. The area has campgrounds, convenience stores, and boat rentals. Motors must not exceed 8 HP and no live bait fishing is permitted.
